AKANKSHA HOUSING SCHEME FOR WB GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. 

Who can apply? 

All serve the state. Employees are subject to the West Bengal Service Rules, excluding the state government. Government officials with their own housing models such as Pratyasha for the police or similar housing models of the West Bengal government, as mentioned in FD-647 dated 29 August 2014 by the Ministry of Finance. You can apply to participate in the New City project under the AKANKSHA HOUSE SCHEME (AHS) project in West Bengal. Description: The following service personnel are not eligible: - (a) all Indian employees, b) employees of local governments such as Panchayet, municipalities, companies, etc. c) faculty / non-educational non-governmental organization's.

How can online registration in this schem? 

Follow the steps below to register for Akanksha housing scheme

Step 1: The applicant must visit the official website http://www.wbhousing.gov.in/ to apply online.

Step 2: Click on apply now on the home page of the website to fill the online application form.

Step 3: Now enter the required details in the form.

Step 4:  Attach the scanned copies of the required documents.

Step 5: Finally click on submit button for successful registration.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED  FOR AKANKSHA HOUSING SCHEME:

The following documents are required to be produced at the time of applying for the scheme:

Voter Identity Card of the applicant.

Demand draft.

Aadhar card.

Proof of residence.

HOW TO APPLY

2.1 Application has to be made online only.

2.2 No applicant is permitted to submit more than one application in this project.

2.3 An applicant, on being successful in lottery shall have to submit a copy of current pay-slip issued by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer along with such other documents as may be required by Housing Department.

2.4 Applicant has to deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- as “Application money” in the online application system.
