Sech Bandhu Prakalpa is a farmer-friendly project that provides farmers with 46,000 new replacement pumps to improve irrigation in the state. This will be of great help to farmers and protect against illegal consumption of electricity.  This includes installing micro-irrigation systems for farmers that not only help farmers meet their water needs, but also prevent water wastage. 

The plan proposes the use of two methods of irrigation (as we have seen). The cost of installing a drip irrigation device is Rs 70,000 and sprinkler machines Rs. 20,000 This cost is fully covered by the state.

 In addition to growing food crops, the program will provide adequate irrigation for vegetable and fruit farms. 

The project received a distribution of Rs 25 crore.
